Our story
Founded in 1982, we started as a small teak sawmill and a plywood distributor in Bangpo – Bangkok’s renowned district for wood business. In 1992, the new sawmill, warehouses and other facilities were constructed at Bangbuathong initially to minimise the congestion of warehouse and to support the business of Bangpo branch.
A few years later, our Bangbuathong branch was officially open for business. Our main business back then initially involved trading only teak, few other species and plywood. It was, during those years, that we also began supplying other sheet materials (MDF, Particle Board), laminate, furniture fittings, paints, and carpenter’s tools and small wood working machinery. Since then, we have officially been named the Authroised Dealer of well-known brands such as Formica, Wilsonart, Greenlam, TOA, Häfele, Dunlop Adhesives, Makita, and Maktec.
With almost 40 years of expertise in wood business, we know what our customers want and have been striving to deliver only the best for them. It is our philosophy to treat every customer with respect and honesty as we do nurture a good relationship with our customers and highly value their loyalty.

From humble beginnings in 1985, we have become a leader in wood materials and complete services with determination, accumulated experience, and continuous trust from customers.
Year 1982
Rungsombat (1985) Co., Ltd. was established on October 4, 1982 in the Bang Pho area. In the beginning, it was a family business operating as a small sawmill and distributing processed teak lumber and plywood.
Year 1993
Later, when there was more response from customers, the area was expanded to Bang Bua Thong District, Nonthaburi Province, to construct a larger sawmill and a warehouse. This was the origin of Buathong Sirithap Co., Ltd.
Year 2001
Our company has expanded its business to include woodworking for Thai craftsmen. We have started distributing hardware, furniture fittings, various tools, paints, and are a distributor of leading brands such as Hafele, Winsonart, Formica, Greeniam, Dunlop, etc.
